Annual Congregational Meeting

On Sunday, January 20following a brunch served after our 9 am worshipservice we will hold ourAnnual Congregational Meeting.We will go over our Annual Reports from our different committees and hold an open discussion about the future of our congregation.


This is an invitation for all children and teens to join our congregations once a month for spiritual education, fun, and fellowship. We will meet at one of the three congregations each month. All are invited to each of the congregations each month, so please find time to stop by. Each time the “Seekers” will meet, it will be for one hour and include snack time. All youth and teens are welcome to this event. Below are the dates and times for the next three gatherings. For any questions, contact Pastor Erin Burns 330-542-3151.

February 13 at St John at 5:30 pm

March 13 at Zionat 5:30 pm 


We at Zion will begin to offer for our twenty something and thirty something folks in the Fellowship Room on First Thursday of each month. The next Worship Around the Cross will be held on Thursday,

February 7 at 7  p.m. This will be a relaxed style of worship offered on the First Thursday of each month (to begin with), using power points, You-Tube songs, chants, and the sermon will be in a conversational style in a circle with our large  wooden cross making up our center. Holy Communion will be offered at each Worship Service.

Join us this year in celebration of our Lord’s birth.

On Christmas Eve we will hold our usual worship services at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. following the forms we have used for years. Meaning the early service at 7:00 p.m. will include readings and carols as well as Holy Communion and a candle lighting ceremony. Then at 11:00 p.m. will be our traditional liturgy of Holy Communion which includes a candle lighting ceremony.

Worship Around the Cross

​​​​Contemplative Prayer Group
Our next Contemplative prayer group will meet on Thursday, January 10 at 7 pm when Body prayer 

will be the base. Then on Thursday, January 24 at 7 pm  when Sound and Silence will be the base.

Community Free Meals

Second Tuesday of this month is  St Paul's Table of Plenty at St. Paul's Catholic Church of New Middletownfrom

5 p.m.to6:30 p.m.

Third Tuesday of this month join the people of Petersburg Presbyterian for Calvin's Table from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Fourth Tuesday of this month  is Luther's Table at Zion Lutheran Church of New Middletown from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Zion Lutheran is reaching out to the community by offering a meal at no  cost for people of the community. Our next meal is on Tuesday, January 22 at 5 p.m.   Our goal is to provide companionship, fellowship, nutrition (physical or spiritual) and strengthening the bonds within our community.
