Current Activities

 

Slow Movement Group is held on Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. Join us for some slow rhythmic exercise and guided meditation. We ask that you have your doctors permission to participate in this form of activity. (Not Meeting again till September)

 

 

 

 

Drumming Circle Group for all ages is meeting on the first Thursday of each month, at 7 p.m. We will begin with some introductory instructions on drumming and conclude with a period of drumming. Basic percussion instruments will be provided. Participants may bring their own drums. Won't you join us for some fellowship and rhythmic fun?

Catechesis (Being shaped into Jesus) Study

We will offer the members and friends of Zion Lutheran of New Middletown, our cluster group  that will use the book "New Life: Lutheran Catechism for Christ-like Discipleship". The goal of this cluster will be to assist them in becoming a disciple of Jesus. As part of this cluster experience we will assist the participants in traditional Christ-like discipleship practices and we will focus on Meeting God (Up), Making Friends (In), Extending Friendship (Out), and Belonging to a Wider Christian Community (Of).

This study is held on the Third Thursday, of each month through November.

 

Creative Women

Our Creative Women group meets at Zion Lutheran in New Middletown the last Friday of the month at 1 p.m.

 

 

Annual Pancake Breakfast and Rally Day Activities

We begin our Fall schedule of worshipping at 8 a.m. and

10:45 a.m. starting on Sunday, September 12. As part of our shift to our Fall schedule we will offer our Annual Pancake Breakfast following our 8 a.m. worship service. The at 10 a.m. we will begin our Sunday School year with our Rally Day activities starting in our Worship Room. 

 

 

 

 

STCCC Fall Clothing Give-Away

STCCC will hold its annual Fall Clothing Give-Away at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 19 from 9 a.m. to Noon in the Church's Fellowship Hall.

 

People wishing to drop off clothes may do so from Tuesday, September 14 to Friday September 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Help is needed to sort and fold the clothes!
